Lunette: Luanar Probe (Part 1)

The first character we are introducing for our new themed shop is Lunette. She is a little robot sent up to gather information from the moon. We designed the plush Lunette by request of our little elephant (Jayne). The prototype is not yet completed, but I can bring you the first installment of Lunette's story.

Lunette: Lunar Probe Young Jayne Morgan had worked all through nap time . He had a big project on his mind and couldn’t wait to finish it that night. He ate a big plate of spaghetti for dinner and had 2 cookies for desert. Mommy and Daddy put him to bed promptly at 8:00 pm and then he waited. When Mommy and Daddy were finally asleep, Jayne crept out into the summer night with his big project.

Jayne had an interest in the sky above and particularly in the moon. He had been working for weeks on a special lunar probe to send into space and find out all about the moon for him. He packed his little probe into the space ship and got ready to count down…

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Blast Off!

Jayne’s rocket soared into the sky with Lunette the lunar probe inside.

“Come back soon, Lunette!” Jayne called after the rocket. “Bring me lots of rocks!”
